Taxonomy
Rhynchonella trinodosi was named by Bittner (1890).

It was recombined as Piarorhynchella trinodosi by Dagys (1974), Pálfy (1988), Urosevic et al. (1992), Iordan (1993); it was recombined as Nudirostralina trinodosi by Guo et al. (2019).
