Aliquantula tapirina
Taxonomy
Waldheimia tapirina was named by Hutton (1873). Its type specimen is MNZ Br1368 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cobden Limestone Quarry, Greymouth, which is in a Rupelian carbonate limestone in the Cobden Limestone Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Aliquantula tapirina by Hiller and MacKinnon (2000); it was recombined as Stethothyris tapirina by MacKinnon et al. (1993), Craig (2001).
