Archaeochiapasa mardoqueoi
Taxonomy
Archaeochiapasa mardoqueoi was named by Guinot et al. (2019). Its type specimen is IHNFG-5616 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Chango Quarry, which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Cintalapa Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Archaeochiapasa.
