Asfaltovenator vialidadi
Taxonomy
Asfaltovenator vialidadi was named by Rauhut and Pol (2019). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 3440, a partial skeleton (skull, presacral vertebrae, forelimbs), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.6 km northeast of Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine limestone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
