Taxonomy
Eosphaeroma fluviatile was named by Woodward (1877). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hempstead Ledge, which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Bembridge Marls Formation of the United Kingdom.
