Taxonomy
Eryma insignis was named by Oppel (1862). It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Eryma ventrosum by Schweitzer et al. (2010); it was recombined as Erymastacus insignis by Hyzny et al. (2015); it was recombined as Stenodactylina insignis by Devillez et al. (2016), Dadykin and Shmakov (2023).
