Unicostatina subglobosa
Taxonomy
Sulciplica subglobosa was named by Clarke (1990). Its type specimen is GST14137, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Cliffs, "Spirifer" zone, Maria Island, which is in a Sakmarian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Darlington Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Unicostatina.
It was recombined as Unicostatina subglobosa by Waterhouse (2004).
