It was recombined as Erymastacus ornati by Secretan (1964); it was recombined as Erymastacus ornatus by Hyzny et al. (2015); it was recombined as Eryma ornati by Devillez and Charbonnier (2017); it was recombined as Eryma ornatum by Schweitzer et al. (2010), Devillez and Charbonnier (2019) and Dadykin and Shmakov (2023).
