Ranilia punctulata
Taxonomy
Ranilia punctulata was named by Beschin et al. (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava Boschetto di Nogarole Vicentino (unit A), which is in a Lutetian carbonate tuff in Italy. It is the type species of Italianira.
It was recombined as Italianira punctulata by Karasawa et al. (2014), Beschin et al. (2016) and Schweitzer et al. (2018).
