Oleandridium brackebushianum was named by Kurtz (1921). It is not extant. It is the type species of Yabeiella.
It was recombined as Taeniopteris brackebushiana by Du Toit (1927); it was recombined as Yabeiella brackebushiana by Jain and Delevoryas (1967).
