Tethyscarpilius bericus
Taxonomy
Tethyscarpilius bericus was named by De Angeli and Alberti (2016). Its type specimen is MCZ.4461-I.G.367043 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava di Alonte, Monti Berici (middle-upper levels), which is in a Priabonian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Tethyscarpilius.
