Glyphella reticulata was named by Kesling and Chilman (1978) [Types: Holotype, UMMP 59056; paratypes, UMMP 59034-35, 59058, 59410-11, 59423, 59478-79]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMMP 59056.
