Taxonomy

Astarte fluctuata was named by Carpenter (1864). It is extant.

It was recombined as Eucrassatella fluctuata by Coan et al. (2000), Moore (2003); it was recombined as Hybolophus fluctuatus by Hendy (2021).

Synonyms

Crassatellites lomitensis was named by Oldroyd (1924). It is extant.

It was recombined as Crassatella lomitensis by Schenck (1945); it was synonymized subjectively with Eucrassatella fluctuata by Coan et al. (2000); it was synonymized subjectively with Hybolophus fluctuatus by Hendy (2020).
