Taxonomy
Aglithodictya was named by Hall and Clark (1899) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fras-u Sepkoski's reference number: 913]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Aglithodictyidae.

It was assigned to Reticulosa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Aglithodictyidae by Finks and Rigby (2004).
