Kaidacarpum ooliticum was named by Carruthers (1868). It is not extant. It is the type species of Pandanocarpum.
It was recombined as Pandanocarpum ooliticum by Zigno (1873); it was recombined as Araucarites ooliticum by Seward (1919).
