Taxonomy
Bienvillia kichka was named by Waisfeld and Vaccari (2006). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 22101, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pascha-Incamayo, collection 1, which is in a Tremadocian marine mudstone in the Saladillo Formation of Argentina.
