Taxonomy
Verruca gailgoedertae was named by Perreault and Buckeridge (2019). Its type specimen is LACMIP 14759 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 16851, Doty Hills, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Crescent Formation of Washington.
