Titusvillia was named by Caster (1939) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Titusvillia drakei. It is the type genus of Titusvilliidae.
It was assigned to Titusvilliidae by Rigby and Moyle (1959); to Reticulosa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Titusvillidae by Finks and Rigby (2004).
