Taxonomy
Tricoelocrinus belfordi was named by Crockford and Brown (1940). It is a mold. Its type locality is Jump-Up Creek, Portion 14, Belford Parish, which is in a Roadian marine shale in the Branxton Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Rhopaloblastus belfordi by McKellar (1969).
