Taxonomy
Pseudocorbula falconeri was named by Cox (1934). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cerro del Hospital, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian lacustrine sandstone in the Estrada Nova Formation of Uruguay.
It was synonymized subjectively with Cowperesia emerita by Mendes (1952); it was recombined as Terraia falconeri by Simões et al. (2017).
