Taxonomy
Zuunia chimidtsereni was named by Yang et al. (2020). Its type specimen is BGolN68Gl-07 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BAY 1. Bayan Gorge, which is in an Ediacaran/Fortunian marine limestone/shale in the Zuun-Arts Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Zuunia.
