Taxonomy
Bucheria ovata was named by Dorf (1933). It is not extant. Its type locality is Beartooth Butte, which is in a Devonian fluvial sandstone in Wyoming. It is the type species of Bucheria, Rebuchia.
It was recombined as Rebuchia ovata by Hueber (1970).
