Diprosopovenator hilperti
Taxonomy
Diprosopovenator hilperti was named by Stumpf et al. (2019). Its type specimen is RE A 4872/1 and RE A 4872/2, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is HPCF II quarry (geslinianum zone), which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone in the Hesseltal Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Diprosopovenator.
