It was assigned to Chapattimyinae by Averianov (1996); to Ctenodactylidae by Hartenberger (1982), McKenna and Bell (1997); to Yuomyinae by Tong (1997); to Yuomyidae by Kumar et al. (1997); and to Ctenodactyloidea by Li and Meng (2015).
