Taxonomy
Gammaroidorum vonki was named by Jarzembowski et al. (2020). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BMNH IC CH879ii,xii, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Clockhouse Brickworks (BMNH collection), which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal mudstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
