Finkelnburgia wemplei
Taxonomy
Dalmanella (Orthis) wemplei was named by Cleland (1900). Its type specimen is USNM 91413a-d and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed IV 2. near Fort Hunter, which is in a Tremadocian carbonate limestone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York.
It was recombined as Finkelnburgia wemplei by Ulrich and Cooper (1938).
