Taxonomy
Archaeolepas decora was named by Harbort (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Musingen, near Bückeberg, which is in a Valanginian marine siliciclastic in Germany.

It was recombined as Loriolepas decora by Gale (2016).
