Taxonomy
Metaloriculina norvicensis was named by Gale (2016). Its type specimen is NHMUK IC 1226 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cringleford Newfound Farm pit, sample levels Cr1-3, which is in a Campanian carbonate limestone in the United Kingdom.
