Gourretia aquilae
Taxonomy
Callianassa aquilae was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1 1/2 mi NE of Sherman Junction, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian marine horizon in the Eagle Ford Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Gourretia aquilae by Vega et al. (2007), Schweitzer et al. (2010).
