Tremaglaspis was named by Fortey and Rushton (2003). It is not extant. It is the type genus of Tremaglaspididae.
It was assigned to Aglaspidida by van Roy (2006), Ortega-Hernandez et al. (2013); and to Tremaglaspididae by Lerosey-Aubril et al. (2017).
