Heteroaspis stoermeri
Taxonomy
Eurypterus stoermeri was named by Novojilov (1959). It is not extant. Its type locality is Imaigda River, Taymyr Peninsula, which is in a Lochkovian paralic marl in the Zub Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was considered an invalid subgroup of Eurypterus by Dunlop et al. (2013); it was recombined as Heteroaspis stoermeri by Marshall et al. (2014) and Dunlop et al. (2020).
