Taxonomy
Glypharthrus trispinicaudatus was named by Lerosey-Aubril et al. (2017). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 165042 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Guole roadcut, which is in a Furongian slope marl/lime mudstone in the Sandu Formation of China.
