Crescenti 1966 | Test low to medium-high trochospiral, wider than high; chambers spherical to subsperical, the four chambers of the last whorl increasing rapidly in size; sutures on spiral and umbilical side gently curved and depressed; surface hispid with spine bases and slightly pitted on earlier chambers; umbilicus wide, deep; primary aperture interiomarginal, umbilical, large, semicircular arch bordered by a distinct rim. Last few chambers show a single supplementary aperture opposite to primary one. |
