Saltaodus sirolli
Taxonomy
Saltaodus sirolli was named by Gelfo et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MLP 98-XI-1-1, a mandible (left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corte Blanco, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian floodplain limestone/marl in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Saltaodus.
