Sibotherium ka
Taxonomy
Sibotherium ka was named by Rincón et al. (2020). Its type specimen is CFM-994, a limb element (left astragalus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Gerardo de Limoncito, which is in a Messinian deltaic conglomerate in the Curré Formation of Costa Rica. It is the type species of Sibotherium.
