Apeirodon sorianoi
Taxonomy
Apeirodon sorianoi was named by Babot et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MHAS 128, a tooth (right upper molar (probably M2)), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Antofagasta de la Sierra, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Geste Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Apeirodon.
