Taxonomy
Arcuatoscalpellum wacoensis was named by Gale (2020). Its type specimen is NHMUK IC 1626, an other (scutum), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample W, Waco Shale Pit, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate marl in the Grayson Formation of Texas.
