Paleocirroteuthis haggarti
Taxonomy
Paleocirroteuthis haggarti was named by Tanabe (2008). Its type specimen is CDM994.59.9, an other (lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puntledge River (locality 3, Eupachydiscus haradai subzone), which is in a Santonian marine siliciclastic in the Haslam Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Paleocirroteuthis.
