Cyrtobelus birkelundae
Taxonomy
Cyrtobelus birkelundae was named by Fuchs et al. (2012). Its type specimen is MMK20647 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oyster-ammonite Conglomerate loc. III, Agatdalen, Nugssuaq, which is in a Maastrichtian offshore shale in Greenland. It is the type species of Cyrtobelus.
