Taxonomy
Baculites nugssuaqensis was named by Birkelund (1965). Its type specimen is MMH 9755 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuperssuarta, west of dolerite sill A, Nugssuaq, which is in a Santonian offshore shale in Greenland.
