Baculites meeki
Taxonomy
Baculites meeki was named by Elias (1933). Its type specimen is KU 1702A1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beecher Island, Yuma Co [Beecher Island Mbr, Pierre Shale], which is in a Maastrichtian/Maastrichtian offshore limestone in the Pierre Shale Formation of Colorado.
