Squalicorax pawpawensis

Taxonomy
Squalicorax pawpawensis was named by Siverson et al. (2007). Its type specimen is SMU 76312, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SMU Loc. 263, Motorola site, which is in an Albian coastal claystone/sandstone in the Paw Paw Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Palaeoanacorax pawpawensis by Underwood and Cumbaa (2010), Guinot et al. (2013).
