Pseudomegachasma comanchensis
Taxonomy
Megachasma comanchensis was named by Shimada (2007). Its type specimen is FHSM VP-15095, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tobe locality, Comanche National Grassland, which is in a Cenomanian deep subtidal ramp grainstone in the Greenhorn Limestone Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Pseudomegachasma comanchensis by Shimada et al. (2015).
