Taxonomy
Anomotodon genaulti was named by Guinot et al. (2013). Its type specimen is University of Montpellier MAO2-17, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mont-Août, upper horizon (MAO2), which is in a Campanian carbonate chalk in France.
