Taxonomy
Paratriakis bettrechiensis was named by Herman (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Railway station quarry, Bettrechies (Marnes à Terebratulina rigida), which is in a Turonian carbonate marl in France. It is the type species of Paratriakis.
