Taxonomy
Paratriakis robustus was named by Guinot et al. (2013). Its type specimen is NHMUK P.67119, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Culver, which is in a Campanian carbonate chalk in the Newhaven Chalk Formation of the United Kingdom.
