Carcharias holmdelensis

Taxonomy
Odontaspis holmdelensis was named by Cappetta and Case (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Willow Brook (WBR), which is in a Maastrichtian coastal sandstone in the Navesink Formation of New Jersey.

It was recombined as Synodontaspis holmdelensis by Case and Schwimmer (1988); it was recombined as Carcharias holmdelensis by Case and Cappetta (2004) and Retzler et al. (2013).
