D. R. Prothero and M. R. Liter 2008Supraorbital horns elongated and posteriorly di- rected, with small basal flanges; shafts widely bowed inwardly, moder-
ately twisted with bulbous tips, flattened anteroposteriorly. Dentition similar to Dromomeryx, but open anterior fossette on p4. Limbs moder- ately heavily proportioned. Females may have also had horns (modified from Janis and Manning, 1998, p. 482).
