Edaphodon kawai

Taxonomy
Edaphodon kawai was named by Consoli (2006). Its type specimen is IGNS CD588, a set of teeth (mandibular toothplate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mouth of Tahatika Creek (CH/f524), which is in a Campanian/Danian coastal sandstone in the Takatika Grit Formation of New Zealand.
