Metalegoceras (Artimetalegoceras) clarkei

Taxonomy
Metalegoceras clarkei was named by Miller (1936). Its type specimen is UWA 19985-86, a partial shell (Phragmocone), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Nura Nura Outcamp (3 miles E), which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Nura Nura Formation of Australia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Metalegoceras australe by Glenister et al. (1973); it was recombined as Parametalegoceras clarkei by Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Metalegoceras (Artimetalegoceras) clarkei by Boiko et al. (2008).
